Yemaya was a queenly mermaid. She is the protector of all women. She is the Ocean mother Goddess in Santeria, an Afro-Carribean religion practiced around the world. She governs everything pertaining to women, parenting and child safety. A great pendant for mothers, surfers and sealovers for protection.
This piece is hand-made in Bali with recycled silver and double plated with 2 microns of 24 carat gold.
For every piece of jewellery we sell we donate 20,000 rupiah to 'A liquid Future', a non-profit organisation that educates and trains women in remote parts of Indonesia through surfing, surf tourism and creative education programmes to build resilient communities, protect marine ecosystems and address climate change and inequity.
